Ai Xinwei pointed out, "Hisense's comprehensive perception system for smart highways breakthroughly achieves a multi-dimensional integration of time, space, environment, facilities, and events based on the collaboration of people, vehicles, and roads." It achieves precise perception of all elements and scenarios, including traffic operations, meteorological environments, road conditions, structural health, electromechanical facilities, personnel/mobile facilities, truly benefiting road users and travelers with a "technological feel" of smart highways.

In traffic operation perception scenarios, Hisense utilizes digital twins to create road network operation perception capabilities. It realizes real-time monitoring of road network operations based on real-time vehicle trajectories, observing traffic conditions from a god's perspective. Traffic accidents such as vehicle collisions and abnormal parking can be detected in seconds, with a detection time of less than 1 minute and an accuracy rate of 95% or higher.

Meteorological perception scenarios, creating a road meteorological map, allowing meteorological data to serve the operation of the road network. Deploy meteorological environment perception equipment and data services based on the characteristics of the road section, comprehensively monitor meteorological environment conditions such as visibility, temperature and humidity, rain, snow and fog, and provide timely warning and early response for abnormalities, reducing the probability of accidents caused by adverse weather.

In the scene of road condition perception, intelligent contour markers are used to expand sensor modules such as radar, temperature and humidity, and acceleration, combined with in vehicle mobile video AI, to accurately sense abnormal road conditions such as water accumulation, icing, and potholes. Timely warnings are given to driving vehicles and management personnel, with a detection accuracy rate of ≥ 95%.

In the scenario of structural health perception, the system can interface with health monitoring sensor data, combined with digital twin simulation, to achieve a clear understanding of the health status of important infrastructure structures at a glance. Through a multi-level warning mechanism, when abnormal monitoring data occurs, the system automatically alarms and promptly diagnoses problem points, assisting maintenance personnel in fast and accurate maintenance.

In the perception scenario of mechanical and electrical facilities, the system constructs 10 categories of automated fault diagnosis algorithms, covering over 900 types of equipment in and out of highways for fault identification, achieving efficient and low-cost operation and maintenance, and helping to reduce costs and increase efficiency in highway operation. More than 160000 sets of 249 types of equipment under high-speed construction in Liaoning have an online rate of 99.8% since use, and an overall equipment integrity rate of 99.9%.

Personnel/mobile facilities perceive the scene, and the system can provide multimedia integrated communication for production workers involved in road construction and dynamic inspections, monitoring, scheduling, and warning vehicles, personnel, construction sites, etc., improving the safety of production workers while solving the problems of difficult communication, scheduling, and reporting.

"Based on the above perception systems, we have formed a full scene and all element perception system for 9 major categories and 81 subcategories." Ai Xinwei pointed out that the implementation of abnormal events can occur as soon as they are triggered, emergency response can be called out, business processes can be implemented online, and the operation of the road network can be clearly seen. This truly promotes the digital transformation of highways and is at the forefront.
