Recently, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province issued a 'Circular on Commending Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Experts and Outstanding Contributors to the Cultivation of Young and Middle-aged Experts in Zhejiang Province,' awarding Hikvision the title of 'Outstanding Contributor to the Cultivation of Young and Middle-aged Experts in Zhejiang Province.'
Organized by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and conducted every five years, this award aims to recognize units and individuals that have made significant contributions in advancing technological innovation, leading industrial upgrading, and serving high-quality economic and social development. Hikvision's recognition reflects both its long-term commitment to talent cultivation and industrial innovation and its dedication to driving high-quality development through talent.

As a technology company focused on innovation, Hikvision has, over the past two decades, continuously refined its intelligent IoT technology system centered on IoT perception and artificial intelligence, providing security and scenario-based digitalization products and services across diverse industries.
To sustain innovation momentum, Hikvision, guided by its long-term development strategy, has systematically built a comprehensive, multi-tiered talent development ecosystem. The company consistently maintains high R&D investment, with R&D expenses exceeding 10% of revenue over the past five years, totaling RMB 47.702 billion in cumulative R&D investment. Additionally, Hikvision has established multiple local R&D centers domestically and overseas, forming a multi-level R&D system radiating from its headquarters. Nearly 50% of its workforce comprises R&D and technical service personnel, providing a solid platform for technological innovation and talent growth.
In talent development, Hikvision adheres to a dual strategy of 'system construction' and 'resource development.' On one hand, it leverages a digital training platform to comprehensively meet training needs at all levels, enhancing training efficiency and effectiveness. On the other hand, it actively explores agile and diversified talent development models, focusing on key positions and core talent, and tailoring varied learning solutions to support the supply of critical talent for key roles and business growth.
For instance, in cultivating high-level talent, Hikvision operates a national-level postdoctoral research station with independent recruitment qualifications. Since its establishment, the station has trained over 140 postdoctoral researchers, with 18 receiving provincial postdoctoral funding and 4 supported by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
To further strengthen talent cultivation and aggregation capabilities, Hikvision utilizes high-caliber innovation platforms such as the Zhejiang Provincial Intelligent Sensing Technology Innovation Center and the National Key Laboratory of High-Performance Organic Optical Polymers and Advanced Manufacturing Technology. These platforms have helped attract high-level talent and innovative teams, earning the company numerous accolades, including 'National Excellent Engineer Team,' 'National Advanced Collective of Professional and Technical Talent,' and 'National Advanced Collective of the Industrial and Information Technology System.'
Looking ahead, Hikvision will continue to deepen its talent development strategies, integrating resources from industry, academia, and research to strengthen high-level talent cultivation and the translation of innovative achievements. This will inject sustained talent vitality and innovative momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
