Recently, Shuangxin Materials revealed the latest advancements in its PVA optical film business. The project, which is designed to produce 7 million square meters of PVA optical film annually, has been successfully completed and has entered a phase of stable mass production. According to previously released public information, this project was officially launched at the end of 2025. Its products have undergone rigorous verification by downstream customers and are now poised for large-scale sales in 2026.

Simultaneously, the Phase II project, with an annual production target of 10 million square meters of PVA optical film for new displays, is progressing in an orderly manner. Publicly available information indicates that the equipment procurement for the Phase II project has been finalized, and the civil engineering phase is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2026.

As one of the top three enterprises in China in terms of PVA production and sales, Shuangxin Materials has made significant breakthroughs in "bottleneck" technologies in areas such as certain special types of PVA products, PVA optical film, and PVB functional film. The company is gradually achieving mass production and promoting import substitution. The stable mass production of the Phase I PVA optical film project and the continuous advancements in the Phase II project signify the acceleration of the company's efforts to implement its production capacity layout in the optical film sector.
