October 29th was another extraordinary day for Xiaomi Motors and its numerous fans. On this day, Xiaomi Motors officially unveiled the mass-produced version of its supercar, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.

This car has garnered significant attention in recent times. This is due to the extensive promotion carried out by Xiaomi's Chairman, Lei Jun, prior to its official launch.

With Lei Jun's personal influence, it was expected that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra would attract high market attention.

In terms of positioning, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, like the Xiaomi SU7, is a mid-to-large-sized pure electric sedan. Its exterior design also follows the same style as the Xiaomi SU7. Based on the above parameters, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra outperforms the Tesla Model S Plaid, which also features three electric motors, in both acceleration and top speed.

The Tesla Model S Plaid accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 322 km/h.

At the new car launch event, Xiaomi Motors even declared its aspiration to become "the fastest four-door mass-produced car on the planet."

On October 28th, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype achieved a lap time of 6 minutes 46.874 seconds at the Nürburgring, setting a new record for the fastest four-door car on the track.

Pre-orders for the new car officially opened at 10:30 pm on October 29th, with the official launch scheduled for March next year.

Will people really buy an 800,000+ yuan Xiaomi car? The answer is yes, and the demand seems to be robust.

After the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra pre-orders opened, Xiaomi Chairman Lei Jun posted on social media that within 10 minutes of pre-orders opening, over 3,680 small orders had been placed. Behind these words, one can almost see Lei Jun's familiar, shy smile.
