Fast Technology, October 1 news, blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the imaging details of Xiaomi 15 Pro.
Compared with the previous generation 14 Pro, one of the biggest changes in 15 Pro is the return of the telephoto zoom lens. The device is equipped with a Sony IMX8 series 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a sensor size of 1/2.51 inches, supporting 5x optical zoom and OIS optical image stabilization.
Moreover, Xiaomi 15 Pro's telephoto zoom lens supports AI super-resolution. Based on Xiaomi AISP, Xiaomi uses large AI models to create an ultra-long zoom function. When shooting at extremely high magnification, the telephoto zoom lens can automatically call on the AI large model to redraw the original optical data with high precision, thereby significantly improving image clarity.
In terms of the main camera, Xiaomi 15 Pro is equipped with a 50-megapixel OV50K sensor from OmniVision. The OV50K image sensor, built on TheiaCel technology, has a 1.2-micron pixel size and a 1/1.3-inch optical format, featuring high gain and correlated multiple sampling (CMS) capabilities for optimal performance in low-light conditions.
At the same time, OV50K supports quad-pixel binning, with a pixel count of up to 12.5 million, supports HDR at 120fps and 60fps, and has a 4x sensitivity for flagship-level low-light performance.
In addition, Xiaomi 15 Pro is also equipped with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and equipped with a Leica Summilux lens. This new optical system solution will enable mobile devices to capture ultra-precise moments in all scenarios and at all times.
In terms of core configuration, Xiaomi 15 Pro features a 2K full-depth curved screen with a metal right-angle frame design, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a battery capacity exceeding 6000mAh.
