This morning (July 27th), Xiaomi Pengcheng officially announced that its Auto technology launch event will take place at 7:00 PM on July 30th.

According to the details provided, this technology launch will primarily showcase the Xiaomi Kunlun technology architecture, encompassing the Xiaomi Kunlun platform, Xiaomi Kunlun super range extender, and Xiaomi Kunlun comprehensive safety features.

Simultaneously, Xiaomi Pengcheng will officially introduce its two debut models: the intelligent, adaptable, large-space SUVs, the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max and Xiaomi Pengcheng N70 Max.

Based on the information released by Lei Jun, Xiaomi Pengcheng is positioned as a large-battery range-extending SUV boasting a spacious interior, flat floor, long sliding rails, and versatile adaptability for various scenarios. Specifically, the N90 Max is a flagship seven-seater range-extending SUV measuring 5285mm in length with a wheelbase of 3080mm. In contrast, the N70 Max is a large five-seater four-wheel-drive range-extending SUV with a length of 4960mm and a wheelbase of 2950mm.

Today, Lei Jun also unveiled a new color option for the Xiaomi Pengcheng series—Yuanshan Qing. He explained that the inspiration for this new hue stems from the subtle hints of cyan and blue found in distant mountains on the horizon. The color features a subdued, calm grayish-cyan tone that exudes warmth, elegance, restraint, and sophistication. The delicate blue-green pigments and metallic particles flow naturally along the car's body, presenting different layers of cyan and blue textures as the light shifts.

After much anticipation and buildup (a term meaning 'warming up' or 'creating excitement' in Chinese), Xiaomi Pengcheng is finally poised to lift the veil on its latest offerings. However, based on the current information, the event on Thursday evening is primarily a technology launch. Whether the prices of the models will be announced has become one of the key points of interest.
